Jim Dohms is an award winning photographer who specializes in motorcycle and automobile photography. Using his knowledge of light and composition he finds the right location for his subjects. Post production work is done to bring out the detail and create an image with impact. His work is owned by motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors throughout the United States. In 2013 he was commissioned by artist Scott Jacobs to create an image which Scott used for his Official 2013 Sturgis and Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Commemorative painting titled "110 Years of Great Motorcycles". Scott spent over 500 hours reproducing the detail Jim captured in the image. Jim is a regular contributor to the BMW publication "On the Level Magazine" and his images have been used on the covers of Florida motorcycle lifestyle publications.
