I am a Site Safety and Health Professional on different construction projects here in the Philippines and abroad for almost 15 years. I have an inclusive understanding of construction practices and regulations in the Philippines OSH law as per RA 11058 & D.O.198 IRR.Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices and regulations including 29 CFR 1926: safety & health regulations standard for construction. 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standards, US Army Corps of Engineers, EM-385-1-1 Safety & health requirements, NFPA 101 life safety code. Responsible for all construction projects & personnel in regards to safety, environment & health, daily site safety inspection & initiates corrective action in compliance with EM-385-1-1 US ACE, OSHA, APP & AHA. Attends pre-con, pre-phase meeting, observes work activities/procedures onsite & unsafe behavior of workers & also conducts orientation for new personnel, visitors, and vendors. Positively influences project in charge of doing safety onsite. Prepare all safety documents needed on Jobsite. Perform weekly toolbox meetings with staff and personnel. Conduct daily shop talk with worker, reports unsafe condition and hazard, stop work activities because of imminent danger to life and health. Influence workers at the site by performing safety coaching and giving safety incentives for awareness.
