About the Author
Daisha Naché Overstreet is a poet, creator, and self-professed feeler of all the things. Born from Black womanhood, healing, and hard-won self-awareness, her work lives at the intersection of pain, resilience, and poetic rebellion.
She wrote Free Therapy not because she had it all figured out—but because she didn’t. It was a daily ritual, a survival mechanism, a refusal to stay silent in her own story.
When she’s not writing, Daisha is unlearning old narratives, hyping up her friends, and making playlists for moods she hasn’t named yet.
This book isn’t her final word. It’s her first real whisper.
