LaDeirdre (Dee-Dee) Forehand is a licensed Merchant Mariner, maritime professional, and the founder of Mariner Hustle.

After entering the maritime industry in 2019, Dee-Dee completed her training at Bluewater Maritime School in Jacksonville, Florida, and began building a career at sea. Throughout her journey, she has worked aboard multiple vessels, served in deck operations, operated cranes, handled cargo and shipboard equipment, and gained hands-on experience across several sectors of the maritime industry.

Through Mariner Hustle Co, "Dee-Dee" is committed to educating, motivating, and helping future mariners navigate their path into the industry. She uses her platform to share career advice, industry knowledge, job opportunities, and real-life experiences from working at sea.

As a passionate advocate for maritime careers, she has also participated in outreach efforts, career fairs, and community events to help introduce others to the opportunities available within the maritime industry.
