Merckwaerdigh is a one-woman design studio in the Netherlands specializing in up to date sewing patterns for lingerie & beachwear.

In my hometown Rotterdam I have worked since the early nineties for several companies developing new designs as well as patterns. As a teacher I shared my lingerie skills through courses in pattern drawing and lingerie sewing in schools and in my home studio.

Through all those years I’ve developed a line of specialized sewing patterns for home-made lingerie and swimwear (which are for sale in the online shop) to help you sewing gorgeous lingerie all by yourself.

These patterns are real Dutch Design made with a lot of love and affection!
