About Me

Glenn Michael is a Parent Resilience Coach, speaker, and co-author of The Parent Resilience Method™. For more than 15 years, he has worked with parents facing demanding family situations, helping them better understand their own thoughts, emotions, reactions, and responses.

Through his coaching and his work with Autism Parents United, Glenn has listened to hundreds of parents describe the realities of raising autistic children, including stress, exhaustion, uncertainty, emotional pressure, and the challenge of staying present when family life becomes overwhelming.

Glenn’s work focuses on the parent. He believes that when parents understand what is happening inside themselves, they create more space to notice, listen, understand, and connect with their child.

Together with his brother, Anders Joelsson, Glenn created and wrote The Parent Resilience Method™, bringing together coaching experience, practical reflection, resilience principles, and Anders’s professional CBT background and lived experience as a father raising an autistic son.

Glenn is also a co-founder of Autism Parents United, a nonprofit support network supporting parents and families raising autistic children.
