Monique is born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; a mother of one male son and mentor of many boys and girls across the city. She has a passion for youth development and manages after-school youth programs. Monique is an author of 4 books to date and currently working on two other's to be produced in 2021.
Monique prides herself in caring for her mother, looking after her siblings and restoring families. She is the CEO of Cornerstone Families, which is a non-profit organization currently being built that desires to work with currently and formerly incarcerated parents to help them stay connected to their children. This organization was birthed out of her first book entitled "Jail Dad".
Monique is also a Minster and serves in her church local food pantry weekly.
