Nina Omazic wrote her first book at the age of eight, and her second a year later, at home in Switzerland. Her big sister Lara drew the pictures in The Mission in Space, which Nina helped colour, and the cover of The Best Christmas.
Nina Omazic is a young author from Geneva, Switzerland. She wrote her first book, The Mission in Space, at the age of eight, through her school's book-writing club — where a simple extracurricular activity turned into a real published story. She wrote her second, The Best Christmas, a year later.
Her older sister Lara drew every picture in The Mission in Space, and Nina coloured some of them. Lara also drew the cover of The Best Christmas.
Beyond writing, Nina is a chess player, a dedicated athletics competitor of four years, and a fluent speaker of three languages. She loves spending time outdoors, and when she's not running or playing chess, you'll find her reading, drawing, or diving into arts and crafts.
She hopes her story inspires other children to pick up a pen — because you're never too young to have something worth saying.
Her books are published and this store is run by her parents. Contact: omazic.iv@gmail.com
