Now & Laterz is a prolific music production company co-founded by Ben "Grimm" Vargas and A.B.E. in the early 2000s, based in Long Island City, Queens, NY. The two were heavily influenced by the 90s hip hop sound of New York City, including the explosion of rap music from the Queensbridge Projects including legends such as Nas and Mobb Deep.

A.B.E's older brother, Big Will Rosario who was a DJ and producer, significantly inspired the duo to create their own music. The discovery of the MTV music generator game for the Sony PlayStation with its sampler, which allowed them to rip directly off CDs and layer sounds, led them to produce their beats. Eventually, their productions were good enough leading them to their first placement with Queensbridge rap legend, Nature, on his 2003 album, Wild Gremlinz.

Over the years, Now & Laterz has worked with renowned artists such as Prodigy, Remy Ma, Capone N Noreaga, Tragedy Khadafi, Ron Artest (aka Metta World Peace), Royce Da 59, Cormega, Killah Priest, Benzino, Lakey Da Kid, Maino, among others. The duo linked up with Boy Wonder, who had the then-fledgling record label "Chose Few," which resulted in the successful project, "Chosen Few El Documental," the first documentary diving into the emerging genre of reggaeton. Now & Laterz worked on various hip hop songs on the documentary's soundtrack, including tracks with Tempo, Voltio, Tego Calderon, Nicky Jam, Vico C, Eddie Dee, among others, which achieved RIAA certified platinum status.

In addition, Ben Grimm is a music engineer and continued landing placements with artists including Rick Ross, Pitbull, Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, Don Omar, Omega “El Fuerte”, and more while still working with up-and-coming artists. One such artist is Fuego, with whom Ben Grimm has collaborated closely on many records, including their platinum international smash in 2010, "Una Vaina Loca."

Now & Laterz aims to produce timeless music that taps into all their musical influences, both past and present. They continue to work with established and up-and-coming artists to bring their unique sound to the world.
