My name is Nathnael Shiferaw Jarso, an entrepreneur, independent researcher, and author with a deep interest in history, politics, culture, identity, and the forces that shape our world.

My educational journey has taken me across borders, including studies in the United States at Berkeley College and in Egypt at the American University in Cairo. These international experiences have contributed to my interest in different cultures, perspectives, and the complex relationships between societies.

I currently run my own import business in Ethiopia, combining my entrepreneurial experience with a lifelong curiosity about the world around me. Alongside my business activities, I have spent the past 15 years engaged in research, exploring historical events, political developments, cultural identities, and the ideas that influence how people and nations understand themselves.

I believe that progress begins with curiosity, critical thinking, and the courage to question established assumptions. My interests lie at the intersection of history, politics, identity, and human relationships, particularly in understanding how race, ethnicity, and the pursuit of political power shape societies.

My book, Beyond Black and White, reflects these interests. Drawing on the Ethiopian experience, I invite readers to examine the relationship between history and identity, reconsider conventional narratives about race and ethnicity, and explore the possibility of a future built on mutual understanding, equal opportunity, and shared humanity.

Through my writing and research, I hope to encourage meaningful conversations, challenge narrow perspectives, and inspire readers to think independently about the world we share.
