The new OrangeBook features breakthrough new features, longer battery life, a blazing fast X3 chip, our unified memory design, an updated camera, and more, all for just $799.
The new OrangeBook features an all new 13.9” display. The new display features the same fast and speedy 90Hz refresh rate, keeping OrangeBook feeling fast and fluid. The display is also now capable of a higher 700 nits brightness, allowing you to see the display even better, even in the brightest of light, like when taking OrangeBook on the go.
Inside, OrangeBook is powered by the powerful X3 chip. X3 features a huge leap from older models, like O2+ and X1. In our CPU test, X3 was able to outperform X1, while still using half the power. X3 also brings an all new GPU to OrangeBook as well, which is up to 11x faster than the GPU shipped in the original OrangeBook Air. With the help of Media Engine 2, OrangeBook flies through video editing and exporting like never before.
The OrangeBook is also built on our breakthrough 4nm process. This new process boost OrangeBook to be more efficient than ever, allowing for up to two hours longer battery life in the same body as before. X3 also brings unified memory to OrangeBook too, with support for Swap. Swap allows users to briefly use SSD storage when Unified Memory may become full or bogged down.
OrangeBook also features an improved 16MP webcam, allowing users to look sharper when on a video call.
Made possible by new busses on X3, OrangeBook now features support for more displays than ever before. The new OrangeBook features support for dual 6K XDR displays, or up to three SDR 5K displays. And with three thunderbolt USB-C ports, you can connect to displays while still having an extra to port to connect to accessories.
The new OrangeBook will be available in two colors, Silver and Gray.
