Shaunte Strong

Shaunte Strong was born in Chicago, Illinois to Mary and Washington Strong II and began her cheerleading career on the sidelines of Ryder Elementary School. This began her love for cheerleading and her exposure to the world of Stomp-n-Shake cheerleading. Later, she moved to Florida and through the parks and recreation program in Tampa, began cheering again, this time through traditional/game day cheer. Although there was a short hiatus in organized cheer, she continued to attend open gyms and stunt classes while living abroad in Belgium.

Moving to college, Shaunte became a cheerleader at Truman State University where she utilized her leadership skills and creative abilities to highlight the skills of her All-Girl Division II team. She then became an Assistant Coach at Kirksville High School, in Kirksville, Missouri and helped to grow and develop the program, culminating in a 2nd place state championship title. She furthered her cheer coaching career as the Head Coach at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri and used her skills to propel the team into the national spotlight at the NCA competition in Daytona Beach, boasting a 5th place finish.

Upon relocation to Georgia, Shaunte began working with various middle and high schools, culminating in County Championship runners-up for Hampton Middle School, and five-time State Sectional qualifiers for Stockbridge High School, peaking as the #17 team in the state. Shaunte continues to coach high school teams, provides choreography services through her company Max Spirit Association Inc., and is a highly qualified competitive all-star judge for cheerleading around the nation.
