A download email is automatically sent to you shortly after your purchase is complete. The download email will be sent to the email address you used when you made your purchase. The sender of the download email is Payhip. If you don't see the download email in your email inbox, check your junk/spam folder.
If you cannot find the download email in either your inbox or junk/spam folders, please get in touch with the following information -
- The email you entered on Payhip when you made your purchase. (Not the email address you use with Paypal or Stripe to make the payment, if this is different from the email entered on Payhip.)

PDF patterns - You may only teach a class using my PDF patterns if each individual student has purchased their own copy of the PDF pattern from my shop, before the class takes place*. Making print copies of my patterns for teaching/sharing or selling is not permitted. However, if you would like to teach a class using one of my PDF patterns please get in touch and I am happy to offer a discount for the students.
Book patterns - You may teach from a book pattern as long as each individual student has purchased a copy of the book in advance. This applies to in-person classes only.
In all circumstances - it must be made explicitly clear when selling/teaching the class that the pattern is by Carina Envoldsen-Harris.
Online classes or tutorials using any of my patterns is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, any of the following - video tutorials, blog tutorials, online classes, zoom classes, live streams, social media posts, Reels, Instagram live, Facebook live etc.
This applies whether the content is planned to be viewed publicly or privately.
*If a class, taught by someone else using my pattern, is cancelled I do not give a refund for the patterns purchased by students.

No. Not unless you buy the rights to do so. Buying an embroidery pattern is not the same as buying the rights to reproduce the patterns for financial gain.
You may use my patterns to make gifts for friends and family.
-
Well, it depends! You can't use the patterns in a way that breaches my copyright, i.e. you can't use my pattern on an item you are going to sell.
But you can use it as inspiration for a cake decoration for a party with friends and family. Like this one!
Someone also once got a tattoo with one of my designs. If you want to use a pattern for a tattoo please get in touch first because it is customary to make a license agreement that specifies the exact use.
I am also happy to design a custom tattoo for you. :-)

Patterns may not be ordered in bulk for a class, but I am happy to offer a discount for class participants to use individually.
Printing copies of my patterns for selling, teaching or sharing in any form is not permitted.

All payments are processed through Stripe or Paypal. If you select Stripe to process your payment, you can pay with a credit or debit card. If you use Paypal, you can use your Paypal balance or a card instead.

Yes you can! My patterns are available wherever you are based. Prices are listed in British pounds; during payment process, the price will be converted and shown in your local currency.
Please note that most countries add VAT on electronic purchases like PDF patterns. VAT will be added to your purchase at checkout, depending on the rules in your location.

Unfortunately, no. There are so many rules regarding customs, tariffs and whatnot that make it very complicated for a one person business like mine to comply with.
Not to mention that shipping anything outside the UK is very expensive.
I'm sorry that I am unable to scribble in a book for you. x

No, all patterns are available to purchase through my Payhip shop only.
My patterns are no longer for sale on Etsy. (So if you see them on there, please let me know so I can report it!)
-
No, the patterns and ebooks are only available in English.
There is not a lot of text in the patterns, it is mostly pattern drawings and the occasional illustration.
But if you do see something in a pattern that you can't translate please get in touch and I'll be happy to help.

A lot of the patterns are suitable for beginner stitchers. Some of my favourite stitches are "basic" ones like back stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch, detached chain stitch (a.k.a. lazy daisy stitch), satin stitch and French knot.
Sometimes I do use more 'advanced' stitches in my patterns but it is the exception rather than the rule.
On YouTube I have a playlist of embroidery stitch tutorials.
