read my story đŹ
âyou have such a story to tell,â is what my best friend since childhood told me & i could not agree more. my entire life seemed to be full of situations that changed who i am. i did not get why identity altering events chased me for so long though. the common denominator is that i tried to revolve my identity around things & people that didnât align with me so many times throughout the past 6 years.
if your life/style does not mirror your identity, you can attract something sent to destroy you. of course youâre not doing it on purpose, but subconsciously because you accept less for yourself. knowing exactly who you are comes with intentionally choosing to reflect that in your values, habits, & choices. you must resist the temptations to get you to conform or stay stagnant, which is difficult if youâve never done it before. thankfully, consistency is the solution.
flygal$tyle started as 4 hobbies:
âĽď¸lifestyle influencing
âĽď¸activism journalism
âĽď¸brand ambassadorships
âĽď¸digital styling
each journey revealed a key piece of my identity. first, influencing opened my eyes to the lifestyle i love: self care & fashion balanced with action. whereas activism journalism allowed me to pursue my passion for psychology & pushed me to continue my education. next, my 10 brand ambassadorships flashed traits such as resilient, expressive, disciplined, & confident. last but not least, digital styling broke me out of my shell to explore new habits, styles, & applications.
consistency in these aspects helped me find my identity. through trial & error i began to create content about my knowledge of style + lifestyle separately, but flygal$tyle was born to combine them together to teach self expression. when you know who you are, you have the desire to no longer settle for less. thatâs when you must accept change in your choices, behaviors, & habits to align with your values, traits, & beliefs. get to know the versatile flygal$tyle through my weekly trend breakdowns to see if your identity aligns with it or if youâre choosing to conform.
