Are you chipping away at your business development all by yourself?

Are you a solo business owner? Are you doing pretty much EVERYTHING on your own with only only immediate family and friends to sense check ideas with?

Do you use networking events and business gatherings to bounce ideas off random and not so random business people you meet along the way?

What if there was a club you could join where you could go to work on stuff, ask questions, get help with those annoying things you get stuck on.

Stuff like..

  • What should you say when picking up the phone?
  • Getting past that angst about rejection when speaking to strangers.
  • Effectively setting up processes to manage that pipeline of enquiries?
  • Choosing a good-fit CRM for your business.
  • Understanding best to use LinkedIn for your way.
  • How to actually 'do' networking.
  • Working out what your individual company business development blueprint looks like with all its touch points.

Wouldn't it be great to have a place to get answers from someone who has done all that before and can tell you how?

Talk to me - I know b2b!

Hello! My name is Joanne Parker and I have spent over 30 years making phone calls to complete strangers and managing all aspects of business development.

I do a lot of networking and the solo business owners I met were asking me questions about how to tackle various aspects of the sales and marketing processes.

It occurred to me that small business owners needed an affordable place to go to chip away at their goals.

Somewhere to get help with unplugging any blockages and fill small gaps in their knowledge. A place to get one to one feedback from someone who knows as well as gain from shared experience.

So, I created a space just for YOU!

My mission is to help as many of you small business owners as I can to implement your own robust business development process.

Part of that mission is to help you overcome your fears about picking up the phone and help you to reach out as your authentic selves to conversations about your business, your way with your own focused processes in place.

“Jo always provides lots of great resources that you can work through in your own time according to your needs as well as a gentle tap on the ankle to ensue you are actually doing something, and not just talking about it. Highly recommended.

A group of small business owners all having similar struggles, but also similar goals. I was able to put my marketing plan together and start following it on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. It really feels like I've made strides, instead of 1 step forward and two steps back.

The regular monthly sessions have helped keep me motivated in continuing with my business development journey. Also, being able to hear other people’s challenges and advice can be particularly useful. Joanne makes a concerted effort to ensure that you get the most out of her sessions and will take the time to impart her expertise and experience when needed.

Why is it called The Pushbike Business Club?

Well, being in business is a lot like riding a bike!

You set off on your self propelled journey and along the way, you’ll have to pedal a bit harder uphill, and you might need to get off and push. Other times, you get to freewheel down ...until you get to the next hill, that is!

if you stop pedalling - you’ll fall off.

Look at The Pushbike Business Club as a metaphorical cycling club to keep you moving along. A place to focus the best business development process for your business.
