Alejandro Arteaga is author of three books (including Reptiles of Ecuador) and 28 scientific articles. He has discovered and described 35 new species to science and raised funds to save 178 hectares of rainforest in Ecuador. Alejandro’s research is focused primarily on systematics and discovery of new species of tropical amphibians and reptiles.
