An avid gardener in 4 states during the past 25 years, Susan is currently working to complete her Master Gardener Certificate and is also in the process of a degree in horticulture. She's a member of the Scottsdale CC Garden Club, with two garden plots there as well as a large garden at home. She is also a member of the American Horticultural Society. Last year Susan initiated an alley beautification program to attract local pollinators which is gaining popularity locally in her neighborhood. She's hoping to expand that program in upcoming months. Her garden has been certified by the Arizona Wildlife Federation and the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat with a commitment to sustainably providing essential elements of wildlife habitat. She worked for a decade in the education department at the Phoenix Zoo teaching guests about animals, ecosystems, and environments. Susan is also a children's book author with worldwide distribution and several best selling titles.
