E.M. White writes sometimes horrific fantasy and sometimes fantastical horror while living out the sometimes horrific existence of a graduate student in western Canada. His former tenure as an English teacher abroad, his amateur history obsession, and his undue early exposure to Japanese horror films all underlie his fiction writing and his writing about fiction. He also reviews fiction, writes about world-building, and interviews SFF authors on Sad but Building Worlds.
