About the Author
I am a writer born in San Sebastián de Los Reyes, a town in the southern part of the state of Aragua, Venezuela, but raised in Maracay, the state capital. Moving between the tranquility of my hometown and the more intense pulse of the city, I discovered that stories live just as much in the simple voices of the people as they do in the silences kept in corners and inside homes.
Since childhood, I grew up under the care and teachings of my parents, who instilled in me solid values and a deep respect for our roots. In that environment, I learned to look at people closely, to listen to their tales, and to understand that every single life carries a story worth telling.
Over time, my voice was nourished by the richness of Hispanic culture and, later in adulthood, by an unexpected encounter with Saxon tradition, which broadened my worldview and allowed me to engage with different sensibilities. My time at BYU-Idaho was a turning point: there, the academic training and mastering the English language did not just give me tools, but opened doors to new perspectives and realities.
For me, writing is an act of faith and a way to walk my own path. Every page is woven with my devotion to God, whom I recognize as the source of light and inspiration, and sustained by the love of my wife and the loyal support of my closest friends.
With The King of Peace and The Humble Witness, I seek to offer stories with a soul: narratives born from experience, spirituality, and hope, capable of walking alongside readers, moving them, inspiring them, and leaving—even if small—a trace of comfort and purpose in their own lives.
