I am an illustration and textile artist by trade, doodling unicorns and cats for kids apparel. Super fun! During my career in fashion, I realized I still had a huge part of my heart that craved fulfillment through helping others. While I do not have a professional background in fitness nor nutrition, I have always had a deep interest in physical health and well-being. As a chronic sufferer of IBS and hereditary high blood pressure and cholesterol, I have always wanted a stronger grasp on my personal health. In 2015, I stumbled upon a seemingly silly (but simple!) fitness and nutrition program that literally changed my life in 3 weeks. As a long distance runner, I was pretty pessimistic about the fitness world at that time: being at my heaviest weight but running 3 half marathons in one year, I was sure I wasn't cut out for weight loss, let alone healthy gut flora. Feeling like I had found the secret key to weight loss management and understanding nutrition and portion control truly set my soul on fire. Since that day, I have made it my mission in life to help spread the joy of healthy balance and taking honest care of our bodies. Because this crazy world of health and fitness is for everybody; and finding a path to it is a little less scary when you have a friend to help you ;)
