Serena is creator of the blog www.italianpills.com where she helps Italian learners find smart and creative ways to transform their ability to learn Italian. She was born on the most exotic of European islands, Sicily, some 30 years ago and graduated from two universities (in France and Italy) and studied in four countries (Italy, France, Spain and England). 

Her academic studies revolved around Linguistics, Business and Communications.

An avid languages student herself, she speaks eight languages and planning to learn more for the rest of her life.

She concentrates her efforts as an Italian as a foreign language teacher on teaching Italian to native English speakers, with a focus on beginners and language certifications. She has worked as an Italian facilitator in Spain, England, Slovakia, and Japan.
