Official Miniatures for Carapace: A Game of Memory and Ruin

INTRODUCTION

I’m Jamison Banks, a Gen X gaming grognard who spent decades watching my mecha miniatures collect dust because I couldn’t consistently find anyone to play with.

So I built my own game.

In 2025, I ran a successful Kickstarter for Carapace: A Game of Memory and Ruin, a solo/cooperative mecha skirmish ruleset designed from the ground up for players who love stompy robots, rich lore, and campaigns with real stakes. I wanted to fill the need for a ruleset that fits players' busy lives and didn't require a heavy time commitment. I also wanted to create cool mecha designs I simply didn't see in your average hobby shop.

The Carapace Forge is where that universe comes to life on your tabletop. Every month I design and release official Carapace miniatures: battle-scarred Carapace walkers for the Aeonic Synaxis and the corrupted horrors of the Hereticae Ascendant. Each release is a named unit from the Carapace universe, print-ready and pre-supported for resin printers, with lore pulled straight from the Mnemonic Engine.

If you’ve ever wanted to walk the Path of the Spiral Lattice with miniatures that were made for the game, or just wanted some cool looking, anime-styled mecha figures, this is your jam.

WHAT YOU GET EVERY MONTH

Each monthly release includes:

  • One fully detailed mecha STL — heroic Carapaces or corrupted Hereticae Ascendant units
  • Pre-supported files optimized for resin printing in Lychee Slicer (Combat Wing Tier and above)
  • Unsupported files for those who prefer to support their own prints (Cantor Tier only)
  • Bonus objective pieces and terrain — Signal Sources, Codex Engines, Reliquary Memory Cores, and more.

All subscribers also get free access to the Weapons Locker, a full set of pre-supported weapons to kit out any Carapace in the game.

New to Carapace? The core rulebook is available FREE at itch.io. Download it, build your Combat Wing, and let the Spiral Lattice tell your story.
