Welcome to July! If you are like me, you are basking in the sunshine and all the summer fun. If you're in the U.S., chances are you're enjoying the 4th of July holiday. What do you do to celebrate Independence Day? A family cook-out or do you travel to see a large fireworks display?
We like to have a smaller celebration, that includes grilling out and keeping Flash calm during the fireworks.
If you've been following me for a while, you know I once worked as a bartender. Here are some great 4th of July themed cocktails. I prefer the simple recipes with just a few ingredients.
For those large gatherings, a couple of my favorite recipes are corn salad and watermelon and cucumber salad. These recipes are great this summer. Besides great food and drinks, you need some music to help keep the party going, whether you're at the beach or on the patio.
