Growing up in Hampton, Virginia, in the shadow of NASA Langley, the stars were never far away — and they still aren't. Her newest venture, the Echoes of Eden space opera series, launches with The Lost Signal, an epic journey into deep space, lost civilizations, and the question of what it means to be found.

Closer to home, her Gates Point romance series captures life along the Virginia coast, where the Chesapeake Bay sets the mood and second chances are always possible. And when the holidays roll around, her Christmas romances deliver the warmth readers count on every season.

When she's not writing, Milissa tends her garden, watches the water, and shares her home with a very opinionated rescue crew of cats and dogs. She also hosts the Stitches and Stories Studio podcast, where she talks craft, publishing, and the messy, beautiful truth about starting something new — at any age.
