Hello Friends, I’m Desiree.

I’m a wellness enthusiast.

Mommy to Jett & Lowen, wife to Shaun & creator of the lazy girl’s wellness guide to: lower your toxin load.

As a wife and a momma I have grown passionate about advocating for my family’s health and finding my purpose within the wellness community. I’m nontoxic-ish, just doing my best to avoid as many toxins as possible and take control of my health!

When i decided to make non tox swaps in my home, where to start & ingredient labels overwhlemed me so much because there is so much out there. I put this guide together for myself & knew this could be helpful for others too! I spent a lot of time and research deciding which ones would make an impact in my life for my family and this is how i got to my top 15 toxins to look out for & what products these toxins are in.

I hope this can be helpful for you as I really did put the lazy into it so it doesn’t feel overwhelming for you.

For more clean living, wellness and all things motherhood see my linktree and IG above.

lazy girl: this term does not imply genuine laziness, but rather a culture of people who find efficient ways to get useful information because we like our leisure time spent in other ways. We need instant “work smarter, not harder” energy! In this case, to help lower our every day toxin load!

You’re welcome. I simplified the meaning of some of the most ridiculous words you will ever come across when buying products and will show you why they MATTER. No one says you have to pronounce it correctly or ever say it out loud, but the dirty truth is, if we want to lower our risk for chronic diseases, cancer, reproductive issues, and so much more we NEED to know what these words are.

This guide has my top 15 toxins that i look for & where to look for them.

Including:

  • aka terminology, because that is how they like to hide it in labels
  • what’s that: why they put it in our products
  • the dirty truth: how harmful these toxins really are
