As the night opens,
I’ve decided what I’m stepping into (In a dark blue over-shirt)
A gift from the heavens.
wrapped in silence,
marked only by a whisper in the dark.
And I’ve decided to follow it.
Inviting my ghosts in for a meal.
Sit with them.
Walk with them.
Not to fear them,
But to ask what they’ve come to say.
Maybe it’s madness.
Maybe it’s magic.
But either way,
It’s mine.
