About Me
Hi, I’m Yasmin—The Milk Doula.
I guide mothers and families through the uncertain, exhilirating and sometimes chaotic journey of becoming a mother. This journey is known as Matrescence. I have traveled, trained and supported mothers internationally in pregnancy, through labor/birth, breastfeeding, postpartum. I use wisdom and compassion to offer support and therapies that nurture and honor the new mother from the prenatal through a supported postpartum.
My first was born at home, THIS was my introduction into birth work. I immediately realized that this birth experience was A WHOLE “THING”. Like overwhelmingly so that I couldnt even process all that it meant. But I knew I needed to get more involved to support women in my community. Within the next year I shared my story, created classes/worjshops, supported mothers in my community and eventually completed a full spectrum doula training.
Over the next 19 years I expanded my skills and also realized the breastfeeding journey has a larger than life impact on the postpartum journey. Becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) adds the greatest pleasure and joy of nurturing and honoring women’s path of becoming a mother. It just doesnt always work out how we invisioned, hard decsions have to be made and you still need support and compassion.
We are perpetually in the becoming as our lives, children and bodies continue to transform us. I am here to walk with you on your journey of becoming, with grace, compassion and evidence backed techniques.
I’m not just here to coach you—I’m here to hold space for you.
I’ve been where you are. I’ve seen how overwhelming it can be to do it all “right,” especially when you feel unsure, under-supported, or just plain exhausted. Whether you’re expecting, healing, or breastfeeding, you deserve guidance that feels like love—not pressure.
Why Mamas Work with Me
Because I get it. Because I listen.
Because I believe your motherhood journey deserves to process, feel rooted, respected, and radically supported.
Whether you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum —you don’t have to go it alone.
We are in this together
