Andrew is a fiction editor, writer, and book coach with a passion for developmental editing. They have run workshops and webinars on fiction craft, storytelling, and worldbuilding for the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, ACES, SFeraKon, Editors Canada, and Freie Universität Berlin.

They love helping writers develop their fiction craft.

Andrew also copyedits and proofreads young adult fiction for Penguin Random House USA and enjoys guiding authors through the process of finding a literary agent for their novel.

In a previous career as an academic educator and writer, they graduated in the history and philosophy of science at the University of Cambridge, and then worked as a cultural anthropologist, developing and teaching postgraduate courses in this field and in academic writing, and later teaching and coordinating pre-sessional writing programs at the University of Southampton, UK.
