Fantastic book for traders who have a good system and trading knowledge but have psychological issues that interfere with their trading results. Sooooo worth the money I spent for it. The author cuts right to the core issues around fear in trading in a way that makes it easy to see how and why it causes problems and gives solid, implementable solutions.

This book delivered significant value for me. I have not found anything comparable written on this problem in the best of trading psychology classics.

The comparison to cold calling fear was brilliant and I couldn't put it down. As strange as this sounds, I literally felt my fear melting away.

This little book has synthesized so much in my personal evolution as a trader, reinforced some of my observations, and

offered an excellent and pragmatic approach to trading which I found to be exceptional. I can unequivocally state that it has

enhanced my trading consistency. I am continuing to review it and use it in my path to mastery. It has become an integral part of my arsenal.

If you’re experiencing any kind of psychological hangups regarding trading I highly recommend this quick guide to help you overcome your issues. I’ve read many trading psychology books that were heavy on theoretical content yet had no solutions to the problems that I was having. I would read these books without ever acting on anything they contained. This is the first book that actually helped me reframe my issues in ways that made sense, and on top of that, provided me with concrete steps to change how I trade. Barely a week after buying this book I conquered a problem that I couldn’t overcome for over two years and my only regret is that I didn’t come across this book sooner. Do yourself a favour and order this book if you’re experiencing any kind of issues with your trading.

Really hits the spot. Gets right down to the problem - great diagnosis, prognosis and cure. If you are at the stage in trading where you are strong enough to admit that fear adversely affects your bottom line then this is the medicine you need.

I was very impressed with this no nonsense to the point book on overcoming your fear in trading. There was ZERO fluff, and very actionable steps to do something about your fear in trading instead of just theory about what is going on in your head.

I found the authors analogies of selling compared to trading relating to fear very useful, and the chapters on process thinking, visualization, and EFT very helpful. While I must admit, I have heard of all these techniques, especially EFT, which I have personally had very good results with, I felt the flow of this book in it's entirety putting all these ideas together was very powerful.

It was much more than I expected given the price. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Ms. Thomas makes some analogies in her books that I have NEVER read in other trading psychology books. Excellent. Well worth the money. Made me want to look into some of her other works. I was not disappointed.

Everyone who has traded has already faced the fears and problems described in this book.

Not only do you get an overview and explanations of where these fears come from, but also easy-to-perform exercises to deal with the fears and ultimately get rid of them. The best point about this book, however, is changing the basic outlook on day trading.

For me personally, it is also a great advantage that everything is presented in a very short and concise way and there is no need to go further than necessary.

As described above, everyone who has already had experience with trading will find solutions in the book. I would buy it again at any time and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great insight on what creates Fear when trading and how to shift the mindset into a process based approach for trading rather than a results based approach that causes negative emotions.

LR Thomas gets quickly to the core of the problem of fear in trading and introduces a totally different way of approaching trading - by building measurable and improved performance in the trading process, rather than focusing on the end result.

I've DESTROYED many accounts over 10 years. In the worst instance, I sold my car when I was in my early 20's and emptied out the account with horrible trades in a matter of days. I was crushed! Depressed.

This happened a few more times albeit with less money. I knew in my bones I was more than intelligent enough to make sense of facts, I could definitely identify winning trades, and all my streaks looked the same. I would do okay, eventually great and then really bad. Also my strategies would change the longer my trading sessions became.

It's now years later and I'm finally seeing my account growing, I'm a far cry from getting back what I've lost over the years but I can see that I will if I just take it slowly, one SMALL trade at a time. I'm finally doing well, by just doing LESS! I'm not happy doing a bare minimum of trades but it's currently the only way I can stick to my system, trading over any period of time longer than 20 minutes makes my head sweat, my bones hurt and eventually my thoughts become soup. My indicators are telling me everything is terrible about a trade but my finger is itchy to just assume a reversal on a big Doji (impulsive trading, definitely from studying too many mixed systems).

Currently what I do is I always start everyday by trading on a demo account. If I don't make a profit simulating, I don't bother testing. I leave the market and return under new conditions. Simply doing less and eagerly stepping away is keeping me afloat.

But now after watching the first few minutes of the course, it feels like light bulbs are going off in my head; I'm a gambling addict! I've developed a terrible basis of discipline and the little trading I'm able to do is more of a functional coping mechanism for living with this gambling impulse. I CAN do better and thanks to this short course, I can see that now.

I have often wondered why it is that some people find it easy to make money from the financial market's while others struggle.

This short course has gone some way in helping me understand, that it is not because they are more intelligent, work harder or have better luck. It is simply because they think and act differently.

Overcoming emotional trading is not easy nevertheless, clear direction is given continuously throughout the course in suggesting methods of exercising restraint and remaining within the parameters of your chosen system.

It is my intention to incorporate the information given in this tutorial immediately into my existing system by including this new psychology. which i have now been made aware of.

About LR Thomas

I trained as a therapist in Hypnosis, EFT and NLP when I was young and then got interested in trading for a living. I quickly learned that trading appeared simple yet it tested me mentally and emotionally in ways I could never have imagined. I developed ways of thinking about trading that made it easy to stick to my plan by using my past therapy experience. I developed a low risk high reward trading system which I then started to teach to others and found that they had the same mindset problems I had experienced. I then created a series of books and courses using audio, video and print to help others take control of their trading performance. These were specific with practical ways to take mental control and yet they used hypnotic techniques that induce change such as stories, analogies, NLP hypnotic command and much more. These techniques are timeless and will help you no matter what you trade, the price is minuscule compared to the money you will save by not overtrading and blowing your account. Good Luck and hope to see you on the other side. LR Thomas
