About Me
My name is Tudor Enea, Born in 1980 in Romania.
I learned how to write at the age of 3. Out of boredom. I was staring at 4 walls and had nothing to do. There were not many toys at that time. I didn't even have a doll. I wish I had a car.
Mom gave me a book, a pen and a piece of paper. She told me
"Learn to write like in this book. That is, make the marks on this book look the same on the page in front of you."
That was a challenge.
It wasn't even clear to me how I could hold the pen in my hand.
I was fascinated by observing the blue mark left after the touch on the sheet...
The first 15 sheets were a messy scribble.
An intersection of contorted stripes.
...
Later....
Ana has apples.
My mother read what I wrote.
I was proud.
Who will Ana be?
And why did she have apples?
What are apples?
Dad has pears. I would like to have some too. Soft real and juicy. I was hungry. Dad is working.
I didn't want the car anymore. I continued to write.
I wrote my first poem when I was 7 years old. It was about the candle that burned on the table in the evening when we all had dinner. We lived in the communist era. We didn't have much electricity.
There was no heat either.
But my mother always tried to put food on the table. At the age of 12 I already had a notebook full of poems. There were about the 3-legged chair, about my grandfather, about the dog in the yard, about the tree that always knew when to bloom in spring, about the clear sky, about the beggar on the street corner. Then I fell in love and I couldn't write all the words that came to my mind. Inevitably my girlfriend left me. And so, I discovered a multitude of feelings, emotions and controversies.
At 14, I got my first job. I needed money for notebooks.
I published the first time in the school magazine, then in the high school magazine, then in the literary circle of the city. At the age of 20 I was chosen to be part of a literary cenacle and I was published in 3 books among other writers.
Then communism fell and technology invaded and grew around us. I was no longer writing on notebooks, but on a computer blog.
In 2013 I published the first book. Over 100 short stories about life, feelings, realities from everyday life.
At the end of 2013, I traveled to Southeast Asia, being part of a group of volunteers to support children's rights to go to school. At the end of that journey, I arrived in India where I worked for 7 months for a humanitarian foundation. When I returned home, I published the book " I love. My India ".
I continued working with children in Europe until the pandemic started. Now I work in another field, I try to be more creative and to write books for children. At the same time, I am working on a new novel inspired by reality. I hope to finish it soon and make my readers happy.
