Hi, I’m Siri (yes, like the iPhone), a Chicago native and the founder of Chitown Tutoring, one of the highest-rated academic coaching and test prep companies in Chicago. With over a decade of experience, my team and I have helped more than 1000 students build confidence, raise their scores, and take control of their academic futures.

I hold a civil engineering degree from Illinois Tech and an MBA from Chicago Booth, receiving full-tuition scholarships from both institutions. As a first-generation / low-income college student, I know what it’s like to face big goals with limited guidance. That’s why I built Chitown Tutoring – to provide the kind of consistent, high-quality support I wish more students had access to.

I created Chitown to close the gap between potential and access. I don’t just help students pass a test – I help them believe in their ability to learn, problem-solve, and compete.

Why Do I Coach?

I coach because I know what it means to work hard without a clear roadmap. As a first-generation student from a low-income background, I had to navigate college admissions, test prep, and scholarship applications largely on my own.

Despite this, I scored in the 90+ percentile on the ACT and was accepted to multiple top 20 engineering programs – two of them with full-tuition scholarships – all without private tutoring or formal test prep.

Now I coach because I want to be that kind of support for someone else. Whether you are preparing for a major exam, applying to a dream school, pivoting careers, or launching a business, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
