Asha Ali Noor is a qualified teacher with postgraduate qualifications in science and education and over 30 years of experience teaching children in primary and secondary education, both in the UK and abroad. Passionate about education, family learning and mother tongue development, she works as an independent language consultant with community groups. Her passion inspired her to create dual-language books for children of Somali heritage growing up in the diaspora. Asha hopes families enjoy sharing her books as much as she enjoys reading with her grandchildren.
