I'm a Gen X UGC creator who started doing UGC work in January 2026. When I first started researching UGC, it felt a little overwhelming. I took an excellent course, but I didn't have much luck finding work on the platform the course was designed for. I learned a lot by actually doing the work, asking questions, making mistakes, and figuring out what worked for me.

Prior to UGC, I spent 34 years working in corporate America in leadership, analyst, and support-level roles. I developed and facilitated training across multiple forums and created training materials and short video-on-demand content as part of that work. I specialized in process efficiency, communication, and project management - experience that still influences how I organize information, manage projects, and approach my UGC work today.
