I guess, when you have an eshop, you somehow have to have a legal page. So this is the page where you get all the information you need to be aware of when buying from this little shop.

The goods (ebooks, paperbacks and audiobooks) being sold on this website are original content, created by Estelle (R.) Van de Velde, and therefore protected by Belgian intellectual property rights.

Ebooks and audiobooks

The digital goods (ebooks and audiobooks) are delivered to you via PayHip and via email. You'll receive a link that allows you to download the digital good five times.

It is to be noted that digital goods, due to their nature, are non-refundable. You can ask for a refund only in specific situations where the download of the product never happened, for example.

Paperbacks

This section is gonna be updated once the paperbacks are made available for purchase in the shop.

The data processed when you buy something on this shop are the following:

• Your name;
• Your email address;
• The download triggers a record with this information: date, time, IP address and approximate location;
• Your agreement to being subscribed to the informational mailing list. (optional)

You e-mail is used to send you information about the goods (ebooks, audiobooks and paperbacks). If you agreed to subscribe to the informational mailing list, your e-mail might be used to send you new product releases, gifts and promotions. (less than once a month)

Your e-mail will not be sold to another service or third party, and won't be used by Payhip.

This site uses internal tracking system that anonymize the IP address and doesn't send the information to a third party (Google or Facebook).

Liability

The seller of the goods offered on this website (the "Goods") shall not be liable for any damages or loss resulting from the use of the Goods, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. The seller makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this website or the information, content, materials, or products included on this website. The buyer assumes all risk and liability arising from the use of the Goods.

Warranty

The Goods are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. The seller does not warrant that the Goods will meet the buyer's requirements or that the operation of the Goods will be uninterrupted or error-free. The buyer acknowledges that the Goods may contain defects and agrees to use the Goods at their own risk. The seller does not provide any warranty or guarantee, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Goods.
