About Me
My name is Miller Perez, and I am an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching experience across a wide range of educational contexts. Throughout my career, I have taught within both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Australian curriculum, working with diverse learners in international and multicultural settings.
I have had the privilege of teaching students from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including Filipinos, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Hong Kongers, Indians, Vietnamese, Thais, Cambodians, Sri Lankans, Brazilians, Mongolians, Japanese, Chinese, South Koreans, Taiwanese, Indonesians, French, Australians, and Laotian learners. This extensive experience has strengthened my ability to design inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments that support measurable learning outcomes.
My academic and professional qualifications are interdisciplinary and strongly grounded in education and language studies. I hold a Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, a Diploma in TESOL, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics, a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
In addition to my teaching practice, I have actively engaged in academic research and professional scholarship, presenting my work at international conferences in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the United States.
The creation of these worksheets reflects my solid experience and professional expertise developed over decades of classroom practice. These are tested, classroom-proven resources that work and deliver results across diverse learning contexts. They are designed to be clear, effective, and practical, helping educators save valuable preparation time while ensuring high-quality learning outcomes for students.
I am deeply committed to effective teaching, research-informed practice, and the development of practical teaching resources that support both educators and learners. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my experience and expertise to your educational community.
