Karen Zefram

Karen Zefram was born in Atlantic Canada and after traveling across the country, chose to settle down on the east coast, missing the friendly and slightly more relaxed atmosphere so often associated with the area. After two diplomas and many years spent trying to find a career, Karen found that helping people be their best and using her mind for creativity had always been her passions. For 20 years now, Karen has been writing stories, helping people and recently began painting beautiful works of art in Acrylic. Inspired by her wonderful daughter and a wish to help her develop in creative ways, Karen created a colouring book and began writing children’s books to help her learn how to read in English; something she has made part of an informal homeschooling program designed to broaden her daughter’s horizons, who will be attending a French school. She also plans on writing more children’s books and continuing to paint in order to illustrate all of her books. Karen currently also has fiction projects in the works as well as some health books that are already available. Other than her passion for creating stories and helping people, Karen enjoys crocheting, reading fiction, Sci-fi/fantasy, and the company of her close family and friends. She also enjoys the outdoors during the summer where she likes to create her works of art and feel alive.
