By placing an order through my online shop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before purchasing.

1. About Me

A Nimsical Creation is a small, independent handmade craft business based in Carlisle, Cumbria, United Kingdom.

I specialise in whimsical handcrafted resin art, jewellery, Dungeons & Dragons dice, candles and other curious creations.

2. My Handmade Creations

Every item is handmade with care, creativity and attention to detail.

Because my creations are handcrafted, slight variations in colour, pattern, shape and finish may occur.

These individual characteristics are part of what makes handmade items unique. However, all products must match their descriptions, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for their intended purpose.

I endeavour to photograph and describe products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.

3. Prices & Payments

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).

Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payments are processed securely through my online shop using PayPal and any other payment methods available at checkout.

Orders must be paid for before dispatch.

4. Placing an Order

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation through my online shop.

If there is a problem with availability, pricing or fulfilling your order, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

If I cannot fulfil an order, I will arrange a refund of any payment received for the unavailable goods.

5. Processing & Delivery

I currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Ready-made items are normally dispatched within 3–5 working days, excluding bank holidays.

Made-to-order and personalised creations may require additional preparation time, which will be communicated before purchase.

Shipping charges and estimated delivery times are displayed before checkout.

6. Custom & Personalised Orders

I occasionally create items made especially for individual customers.

For personalised or bespoke orders, I will confirm the design requirements, price and estimated production time before purchase.

Products genuinely made to your individual specifications or personalised specifically for you may be exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

I want you to be delighted with your purchase.

For most online purchases, you have 14 days after receiving your order to notify me that you wish to cancel, followed by another 14 days to return the goods.

Certain exceptions apply, including qualifying personalised or bespoke items.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

8. Product Safety & Care

My creations are intended to be enjoyed and cared for appropriately.

Please follow any safety instructions or care information supplied with your purchase.

Candles: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, flammable materials and draughts.

Resin creations: Avoid excessive heat, prolonged direct sunlight and contact with food unless an item is specifically identified as suitable for that purpose.

Jewellery: Handle delicate components carefully. Check individual product descriptions for material and care information.

D&D dice and small accessories: Small components may present a choking hazard. Keep away from young children.

Products should only be used for their intended purposes.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original designs, artwork, product photographs and written content created by A Nimsical Creation remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders.

Purchasing a physical item does not automatically grant permission to reproduce its original artwork or designs commercially.

10. Privacy & Personal Information

I respect your privacy.

Customer information is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in my products, business operations or legal requirements.

Any changes will apply to future orders and will not retrospectively remove rights under existing contracts.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable UK law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.
