Take a Chance on a Local Mid-Missouri Author

My name is Alex Luebbert, and I’m a local author from Mid-Missouri. It Fits is my psychological thriller, and I’m currently working to get it into the hands of more local readers, book clubs, small businesses, and people who enjoy darker, suspenseful fiction.

Buying a copy helps support future books, local author copies, bookmarks, and the marketing for what comes next.

It Fits is available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook on Spotify.

If you read or listen and enjoy it, an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads helps more than you know.

About Alex Luebbert

I write dark fiction, psychological thrillers, and horror stories about the kinds of things people usually try not to think about too hard.

Most of my work leans into atmosphere, dread, guilt, memory, fear, identity, and that slow little feeling that something is definitely not right. I’m not really interested in cheap scares as much as I am in stories that get under your skin and hang around for a while.

A lot of what I write probably comes from the random collection of things my brain has decided to keep for no practical reason. I love music of all kinds, movies, TV shows, and video games, even though I do not have nearly as much time for games as I used to. For some reason, all the important stuff disappears, but some weird scene from a movie, a lyric, a song structure, a boss fight, a line delivery, or the feeling of a specific album will just stay in there forever.

So when I write, I’m usually pulling from all of that. Not copying it, but playing with the things that have influenced me, stuck with me, or shaped the way I think. I like taking pieces of what I have loved, feared, watched, heard, or obsessed over and trying to turn them into something that feels like its own thing while still quietly respecting the stuff that helped build it.

I’m an independent author, so this store is the direct place to support my work. I try to keep prices reasonable because I want people who are interested in the books to actually be able to read them.

Thanks for being here. Seriously. Every purchase, review, share, or bit of support helps.
