David Kim has spent three decades working across Asia, at the intersection of capital, technology, and storytelling.

He structured multi-billion-dollar investments as a managing director at GE Capital Korea and the Korea Development Bank group, before founding the cross-border advisory firm Northhead Capital.

He has interviewed more than 150 founders, CEOs, and investors through his podcast CEO Roundtable, and writes on value creation, innovation, and emerging markets for e27 (Singapore), where his column appears as Value Creation; TechNode (China); and the Korea Economic Daily, where his column appears as David Kim's Blindspot.

In 2025, he was recognized as one of e27's Top 27 Voices Shaping Asia's Startup Ecosystem.

Today his work focuses on radical empathy, human-experience design, localization, and value creation — through executive education, advisory work, and international media.

He divides his time between Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City.
