Please read these terms before purchasing or using a digital product from AppriseHR Solutions.

By purchasing and using the Managing Redundancy – Digital Employer Pack, you agree to these terms.

1. What you are purchasing

The Managing Redundancy – Digital Employer Pack includes the digital edition of Managing Redundancy – A Practical Guide for Small Businesses together with 32 editable Employer Toolkit resources.

The resources are supplied electronically for use by the purchasing business or organisation.

2. Your licence to use the resources

Your purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Digital Employer Pack within one purchasing business or organisation.

You may download, save, edit and adapt the Employer Toolkit resources for the internal HR and people-management needs of that business or organisation.

You may also provide reasonable copies of completed or adapted documents to employees, workers, managers or professional advisers where this is necessary for the organisation’s own redundancy process.

3. What you may not do

You must not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, upload, share or otherwise make the Digital Employer Pack, the guide, the blank templates or substantially reproduced versions of the resources available to another business, organisation or the public.

You must not use the resources to create products, template packs, training materials or other resources for resale or commercial distribution.

HR consultants, advisers and other service providers purchasing the pack may use it for their own business, but the purchase does not give permission to reproduce or distribute the blank resources to multiple client organisations. Please contact AppriseHR Solutions if you require a wider or commercial-use licence.

4. Copyright and intellectual property

The Digital Employer Pack, including the guide, toolkit resources, written content, design and original materials, is protected by copyright and remains the intellectual property of AppriseHR Solutions and/or Barbara McAvoy as applicable.

Purchasing the pack gives you a licence to use the materials as described above. It does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property to you.

5. HR and legal information

The Digital Employer Pack provides general HR information, guidance and practical resources. It is not legal advice and should not be treated as a substitute for advice about the particular circumstances of an individual redundancy situation.

Employment law, statutory rates and official guidance can change. Although reasonable care is taken in preparing and updating AppriseHR resources, purchasers are responsible for checking that the law, statutory rates and official guidance applicable at the time of use remain current and for adapting the resources appropriately to their own circumstances.

Where a situation is complex, unusual or carries significant legal risk, appropriate professional advice should be obtained.

6. Digital delivery

This is a digital product. No physical product will be supplied. Following successful payment, access to the digital files will be provided electronically through Payhip.

Please ensure that the email address supplied at checkout is correct and that you save your downloaded files securely.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Where you are purchasing as a consumer, statutory rights relating to digital content, cancellation and refunds will apply. Where immediate access to digital content is provided and the law permits a cancellation right to be lost following the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement, this will only apply where the necessary legal requirements have been met.

If a file is faulty, corrupted, materially different from its description or cannot be accessed, please contact AppriseHR Solutions so that the issue can be investigated and, where appropriate, a replacement, remedy or refund can be provided in accordance with your statutory rights.

8. Responsibility for use

Every workplace situation is different. The purchaser is responsible for deciding how the guidance and resources are used and adapted within their organisation and for the employment decisions they make.

To the extent permitted by law, AppriseHR Solutions cannot accept responsibility for losses arising from reliance on the materials without appropriate consideration of the particular circumstances or subsequent changes in law or official guidance.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
