BSides Hampton Roads

1. About Our Store
This online merchandise store is operated by BSides Hampton Roads LLC, a Virginia limited liability company.
We offer limited-quantity merchandise associated with our cybersecurity conference. Proceeds from merchandise sales help support our conference activities and the Hampton Roads cybersecurity community.
Purchasing merchandise is not a charitable donation and does not qualify as a tax-deductible contribution.
2. Products and Availability
Our inaugural 2026 conference T-shirts are available only in the sizes and quantities remaining from the event.
Products are offered while supplies last. We do not guarantee restocking or future availability.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display product descriptions, sizes, photographs, and prices. Actual colors may vary slightly depending on your screen.
3. Pricing and Payment
The selling price of our inaugural 2026 T-shirt is $15.00 per shirt, excluding applicable sales tax and shipping.
The total purchase price, including shipping and applicable taxes, will be displayed during checkout before payment.
Payments are processed through Payhip and Stripe. We do not directly collect or store complete payment card numbers.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution rather than impose an additional charge without consent.
4. Order Acceptance
An order confirmation acknowledges that a purchase was submitted. We may need to cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable, a payment cannot be completed, or an order cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled.
If we cannot fulfill a paid order, we will provide the applicable refund.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped from Virginia Beach, Virginia, using USPS Ground Advantage.
We process and ship orders within 5 business days after purchase, excluding weekends and federal holidays.
Shipping is available to the 50 U.S. states and Washington, DC.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the combined weight of the products ordered.
Customers will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information after their order is dispatched.
Delivery times depend on USPS and the destination. Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.
If we cannot ship within the stated processing period, we will provide notice and the applicable options to consent to a delay or cancel for a refund.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
All sales are final, except where refunds or other remedies are required by applicable law.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect size selection, changes of mind, or personal preference.
If an order contains an incorrect or defective product, or if a shipment is missing or damaged, customers should contact us at info@bsideshamptonroads.org.
We will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate resolution consistent with applicable law.

7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate order, contact, and shipping information.
Please review the selected size, quantity, shipping address, and total charges before completing payment.
If you notice an error after ordering, contact us promptly. We cannot guarantee that an address or order can be changed after shipment.
8. Privacy
Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use merchandise customer contact information for order-related communications and applicable administrative or legal requirements, not for conference marketing or sponsor mailing lists.
9. Website and Merchandise Content
The BSides Hampton Roads name, logo, product artwork, and other original content may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a product does not grant permission to reproduce or commercially distribute our artwork or branding.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as our merchandise operations change.
Updated terms will apply prospectively. Changes will not retroactively remove rights associated with orders already placed.
11. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by applicable Virginia and United States law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
