From Sales Management to Knowledge Enablement

After more than 20 years in Sales Management, I realized my real strength wasn’t just in leading teams to hit numbers — it was in helping them understand how we work, why we win, and where we get stuck.

That realization pulled me behind the scenes, where I discovered a new passion: building the systems that help others succeed. Over time, that grew into a focus on sales enablement, process documentation, and knowledge management.

I Didn’t Learn This in a Textbook — I Built It from the Ground Up

I didn’t study Knowledge Management in school. I didn’t come in with a title, a team, or a framework. I started by doing — by paying attention to what worked, fixing what didn’t, and slowly building the structure that my teams needed but didn’t have.

What started as a few rough notes and duct-taped processes grew into a more intentional practice. A real foundation. One that others could actually rely on.

Over time, I’ve developed:

• Onboarding programs & curriculum that help new hires ramp faster and with more clarity
• A solid knowledge base of SOPs and playbooks that actually get used — because they’re built with the user in mind
• A SharePoint knowledge hub that serves as a company adopted central source of truth
• Integrating AI through an internal AI steering committee that pilots tools like ChatGPT and Copilot, helping the company explore, adopt, and integrate AI with intention
