A Guide to Collecting the Records of The Beatles 1962 - 1970 (2nd Edition) is a completely illustrated book of every UK pressing (1st, 2nd, 3rd...etc) of the original records released by the group during their active years.

This comprehensive guide by Tony Bage exhibits demo’s (demonstration records), 7” singles, LP’s (long-playing records), EP’s (extended playing singles), Fan Club flexi discs, export issues and much more.

Firstly, the book tells the backstory of the ‘Parlophone’ record label to whom the band were predominantly signed, briefly explains the pressing process, then continues to the important -yet sometimes complicated topic, of what EMI tax codes, mothers, stampers and matrices mean in relation to collecting these valued recordings.

The book then shows clear photos of every pressing and with detailed information.

The author became long aware there are but a few books in the United Kingdom that exclusively feature the rarest recordings of The Beatles in complete detail, but this book aims to correct that issue by prolifically guiding its readers through what has now become a quagmire for collecting the recordings of The Beatles.

This is the only book available that fully illustrates how to identify every pressing and show you the facts surrounding the collecting of Beatles' records. It aims to inform its readers to assure them what they think they own, or are considering purchasing, in reality, is not actually something else!
