I’m a Christian woman in long-term recovery, a wife, a mom, and someone who knows what it’s like to feel out of place in traditional recovery spaces. I remember feeling like I didn’t belong in the 12-step world — not because I didn’t want healing, but because I craved something deeper, something rooted in Christ. I needed more than sobriety. I needed spiritual restoration.
That desire led me to pursue my calling. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, I’m currently earning my master’s in social work, and I’m a certified Christian recovery coach. Today, I use both my personal journey and professional training to support women who are seeking lasting transformation — the kind that doesn’t just manage symptoms, but renews the heart.
If you’ve ever felt like you don’t fit the mold and you’re longing for a faith-based path to healing, you’re not alone. I created Recovery For Her to be the space I needed when I was starting out — safe, honest, and centered on Christ.
