About the Blog
We’re a family with a big backyard and an even bigger love for dogs. Our days are shaped by muddy paws, wagging tails, and all the beautiful (and sometimes heartbreaking) moments that come with opening our hearts to dogs.
In this blog, I’ll be sharing stories about our pups, adoption, breeding, dog trauma and their love, the heartache of losing dogs we’ve loved — including some to poisoning — and our experiences with different breeds.
This space is for anyone who loves dogs and I hope that’s everyone. Because truly, life doesn’t feel fully lived until you’ve loved, and been loved by a dog.

From playful sketches to vibrant watercolor, bold pop art, charming folk art, painterly styles, Disney-inspired pieces, oil painting looks, and everything in between, there’s something for every dog lover. Most breeds are represented, and I’m always adding more.
While the art covers a wide range, the blog is a little more personal; it’s dedicated to the breeds that are part of our own family. These are the dogs we know, love, and live with, and every post is shaped by first-hand experience.

While my husband works full-time (mostly to escape the beautiful, loving chaos at home between me, the dogs, and our chickens), I spend most of my days surrounded by animals; and cleaning dog hair out of every corner of the house 😄. I prepare meals for the whole family, including homemade doggy treats (which I’ll be sharing on the blog too!).
In my spare time; usually while the pups are snoring and, well... farting; I relax with a good show and create digital dog art.
