Because face painting is about so much more than putting some paint on a face, it’s about creating a fun experience that your kids (and you!) will remember.
I’m a professionally trained and certified face painter (via IFPS) with over 10 years of experience, and I’m also a coach with the International Face Painting School (IFPS). I’m passionate about beautiful, creative face painting and continually invest in my own learning, regularly practising new techniques and keeping up with current trends.
✨ Quality & creativity – I love creating beautiful, unique designs and bringing a little extra magic to every event. I offer premium face painting using modern techniques, gorgeous designs and carefully selected, professional-quality products.
🧼 Safety & hygiene – Professional hygiene and sanitation are a big part of what I do. My training means I understand and follow internationally recognised face painting hygiene practices, helping keep the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone.
💕 Experience with kids – As a mum of two teenagers, I know that every child is different! I have experience working with children from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and abilities, and always aim to make each child feel comfortable, included and celebrated.
🎨 More than just face painting – I love adding those little details that make an event feel special, from customised menu's with designs chosen especially for your event, to beautiful handmade and reusable bling where appropriate.
👩🎨 A trusted team – When you book multiple artists through ColourMe, I work with other painters who share my commitment to quality, professionalism and hygiene. I personally select artists I’m confident will represent the ColourMe experience to a high standard.
Most importantly, I genuinely love what I do. I love the creativity, the connection with families and that moment when a child looks in the mirror and sees their transformation for the first time.
That’s the ColourMe difference ; professional, creative, personal and always with a little bit of whimsey-magic!!

Why do I have to pay a deposit?
Your deposit is what secures your date and time in my diary , meaning I’m committing that time especially for you and turning away other enquiries for the same spot.
Face painting is a little different from booking a product or service that can simply be resold. Once your event is booked, I’ve planned my schedule around it and that time may no longer be available to someone else.
So, what happens if plans change?
I completely understand that sometimes things happen! Where possible, we’re happy to transfer your booking to a new date within 6 months, subject to availability and agreement.
For cancellations:
• More than 14 days before your event: Your deposit may be transferred to a new date where possible.
• Within 14 days: 30% of the total booking value is payable.
• Within 48 hours: 50% of the total booking value is payable.
During busy periods, particularly October–December, availability can be very limited, which is why securing your date is especially important.
And what about bad weather?
For outdoor events, we ask that you have a backup plan in place. While we can’t guarantee availability for a new date, we’ll always do our best to help where we can.
**All cancellations or changes need to be made in writing.**

I offer Party Packages rather than hourly bookings for private events as this gives us enough time to settle in, get creative and really enjoy the experience; without rushing!
It means you, your guests and I can all enjoy the full joy of face painting.

Yes, As a Professional Face Painter, I only use professional, water-based paints compliant with EU and FDA cosmetic regulations.
Products are hypoallergenic and cosmetic-grade.
Only cosmetic-grade glitter is used; biodegradable options are prioritised wherever possible.

As a Professional Face Painter, I only use professionall quality products from reputable suppliers. However do know that although extremely rare, reactions to face paints can occur (more so in children under 3).
Parents / caregivers give consent to their child being face painted under this knowledge and can request a skin test if concerned.
Paint brands that I use include : Tag, Superstar, Fusion, Face Paints Australia, Global, Mehron, and FacePaint by BodyFX. Please refer to the manufacturer's website for full list of ingredients.
All painting utensils (brushes and stencils) are kept clean between customers and 1 sponges per person is used . All utensils are thoroughly cleaned between events. This reduces the risk of transferring skin conditions.

Of course I would love to face paint all ages, however I generally do not face paint children under 3 years old.
- 1. Most young children may not have the fully developed motor skills or patience required to sit still for a prolonged period.
- 2. Their skin is more sensitive and prone to reaction.
- 3. Professional face painting brands also recommend using their products on over 3s only.
-
Kids love to keep their face paint on as long as possible. But face paint should be removed before bed to reduce risk of reaction and staining.
A great trick is to use a demo towel or wet-wipe to take an imprint of the design before removal. (see the video on my Instagram for instructions! HERE)
Gentle removal:
- Rub painted area with liquid soap until paint starts to lift.
- Use a wet cloth with warm water and gently wipe away face paint.
- Repeat as needed.
- For stubborn stains use coconut or olive oil and a cotton pad and gently wipe. Rinse face after.
Some colours (blues, reds & greens in particular) stain more than others as do paints in the eyebrow area. Follow the above steps to remove.
We do not recommend using just wet wipes or make-up remover on kids, these products may increase the likelihood of reactions.
Glitter - wipe chunky glitter off first before washing the face to reduce the risk of the glitter going into the eyes. Use a card to scrape the glitter off easily and dispose of in the bin. YES, even Bio-Glitter!

As AI and digital technology continue to evolve, I have slightly changed the way I share photos of the beautiful faces I paint.
I'll still be celebrating the artwork we create, but I'll be looking for ways to make the children in my photos a little less identifiable where possible.
As artists, we love sharing our creations. As parents and professionals, we also have a responsibility to think about children's privacy and their digital footprint.
It's all about finding the right balance.

It may seem that face painting is a simple activity, however it involves a large amount of investment in time and resources.
I use only the highest quality, FDA-approved face paints from professional suppliers, to make sure the art I provide no only is safe but the designs last. Because of this, the paints I use cost a lot more than what you will see advertised on Temu or such places. One rainbow cake of paint alone can cost around $30!!
More often than not, the cheap paints you see online are not FDA approved and have not been tested as professional paints have, hence severe reactions may be more likely.
I also spend countless hours running my business, upskilling, planning party menus, and learning new techniques to provide you with a unique and memorable experience. Investing in professional courses and equipment also contributes to the overall cost.

We genrally bring our own magic, but sometimes we may need a table and chairs from you. If you’d rather provide, we need a working table (about 0.5m - 0.5m -1.5m x 1m) and either a tall chair or two regular chairs for the painters.
A spacious, well-ventilated area – at least 2m x 2m, preferably with a sunny vibe! No doorways or walkways, please! And good lighting is a must!
We’ll aim to arrive 10-30 minutes early to set up, but if we’re running late, don’t worry, we’ll make sure to notify you, to be ready on time, or stay a little longer where possible!
