カナダに住む国際結婚ファミリーです。  夫は東欧出身、私は日本人、娘（現在20代）は日英バイリンガルに育ちました。

育児中は、どうやって日本語を家庭で使い続けさせるか悩むことも多く、たくさんの工夫をしてきました。  海外で子どもに日本語を「楽しく」「自然に」使わせるのは、想像以上に大変なことだと感じています。

このワークシートは、私自身のバイリンガル育児の経験から生まれました。

【Japanese Worksheets: Born from My Own Experience Raising a Bilingual Child】

We are an international family living in Canada. My husband is from Eastern Europe, I am Japanese, and our daughter (now in her 20s) grew up to be a fluent English-Japanese bilingual.

During her upbringing, I often worried about how to keep her using Japanese at home and came up with many creative ways to do so. I know from experience that making it "fun" and "natural" for a child to use Japanese while living abroad is much more difficult than one might imagine.

These worksheets were born directly from my own experiences with bilingual parenting. I hope they will be helpful for other Japanese families raising children abroad, or for anyone who wishes to teach Japanese to children in a warm and engaging way.
