I'm Nicole, the creator behind Common Thread! My goal in life is to inspire makers to connect to their strength and power. I create knitting patterns inspired by fantasy, history, and mythology to achieve that goal. I also host a podcast that shares my design journey. I hold many values like equality, justice, and authenticity. But to me, none of them are achievable without connection - connection to ourselves and connection with others. I believe fiber arts are a common thread that can bring us closer together.
