Welcome to Counseling Adventures! These Terms of Use explain how you may use the digital resources purchased from Counseling Adventures.

By purchasing or using a resource, you agree to follow these terms.

1. License for Purchased Resources

Each purchase grants the original purchaser a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the purchased resource for their own personal professional use, subject to the permissions below. This license is intended for one counselor or educator. It does not automatically provide permission for an entire school, district, organization, or group of professionals to use the resource independently.

2. Permitted Uses

The original purchaser may:

• Download and save the purchased files for their own use.
• Print copies of the resource for use with their own students.
• Use the resource in individual counseling, small groups, classroom lessons, or other appropriate educational settings, consistent with the product description.
• Make reasonable backup copies for their own use.

When using a resource, please follow any additional instructions or limitations included in its product description.

3. Uses That Are Not Permitted

Unless written permission is provided by Counseling Adventures, you may not:

• Share, email, distribute, or give the original digital files to other counselors, teachers, schools, or organizations.
• Upload files to shared drives, websites, online groups, learning platforms, or other locations where unauthorized users can access them.
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the resources.
• Remove copyright notices, branding, or ownership information.
• Modify and redistribute the resources as your own work.
• Include the resources in another product, resource bundle, or online course offered for sale or distribution.

If another counselor or educator would like to use a resource independently, they should purchase their own copy unless a different license has been agreed upon in writing.

4. Copyright and Ownership

All original content created by Counseling Adventures, including lesson plans, worksheets, activities, text, designs, and graphics, remains the property of Counseling Adventures or its respective rights holders. Purchasing a resource grants permission to use it under these terms. It does not transfer ownership or copyright. Third-party materials included in a resource, if any, remain subject to their respective rights and licenses.

5. Student Use and Professional Judgment

Counseling Adventures resources are intended to support educational and school counseling activities. They are not a substitute for professional judgment, school or district policies, or individualized support when needed. Educators and counselors are responsible for determining whether a resource is appropriate for their students, setting, and professional responsibilities.

6. Unauthorized Use

Use outside the permissions described in these terms may result in the suspension or termination of permission to use the resource, to the extent permitted by law. If you need a school-wide, district-wide, or other expanded license, please contact Counseling Adventures to discuss permission before sharing the files.
