About Me

Welcome to Crisis to Calm

Parenting can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life—but it can also be one of the most overwhelming.

When your child is struggling emotionally, experiencing anxiety, having a meltdown, shutting down, talking about not wanting to be here, refusing school, or simply not seeming like themselves, it can leave you feeling frightened, helpless, and unsure what to do next.

You're not alone.

My name is Love Tiboyin-Tanimowo, and I am an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with years of experience supporting children, young people, and families through mental health crises. Throughout my career, I have worked with families during some of their most difficult moments, helping them navigate emotional distress, anxiety, crisis situations, and the uncertainty that often comes with them.

One thing I learned very quickly is that most parents are not looking for complicated clinical language. They want practical guidance. They want to know:

What do I do right now?

What do I say?

How do I keep my child safe?

How do I stay calm when everything feels overwhelming?

That is why I created Crisis to Calm.

The resources in this store are designed to give parents simple, practical, evidence-informed tools they can use in real-life situations. Whether you're looking for printable crisis plans, emotional regulation tools, step-by-step guides, or support resources, everything has been created with one goal in mind:

To help parents move from panic and uncertainty to confidence, calm, and connection.

My flagship guide, Crisis to Calm: A Parent's Step-by-Step Guide and Toolkit for Mental Health Emergencies, combines practical strategies with real-world clinical experience to help parents respond effectively during difficult moments while strengthening their relationship with their child.

Every resource is designed to be easy to understand, simple to use, and realistic for busy families.

When a child is struggling, parents deserve support too.

Thank you for being here.

I hope these resources help you feel more prepared, more confident, and less alone.

From crisis to calm—one step at a time.
